Widening who gets a real say
My core commitment is to deepen democracy in Whistler by helping residents understand how to engage politically in their own community.
To bring more people into the conversation, I’d like to see regularly scheduled town halls, neighbourhood associations, and clearer information on how residents can bring issues before council.
I’d also like to see voter engagement increase substantially, through steps like additional polling stations and better public information about how municipal government actually works.
My promise: I’ll maintain direct, ongoing contact with the community through Facebook, Instagram, and a dedicated website, and hold regular in-person and electronic town halls where residents can raise issues and engage me directly — with an open invitation to the mayor and other councillors to join.
